VR19 Preservation of Evidence Course
VR19 provides information required for the recovery, transportation and storage of a vehicle on behalf of the Police without contaminating or damaging vital evidence required to secure a prosecution.
Course Date - 6th May 2025 - 08:30am start
1/2 Day live online with instructor - Online training is via video call with 2 way interaction between the instructor and participants.
Course is certified by the IVR (Institute of Vehicle Recovery) & satisfies PAS43, NHSS 17 & other compliance and contract requirements
To join the course you will simply login via Zoom from the link which we send to you along with all other information such as start time ect

No previous experience or knowledge is required to join this course
The course includes a small amount of reading and a question paper. We often have people who are not confident with reading and writing who successfully complete the course and we are prepared to assist with this.
There is no practical assessment required to complete this course, However the awarding body (IVR Institute of Vehicle Recovery) recommend that recovery technicians/operators complete a practical exercise of loading/unloading a vehicle with attention paid to preserving evidence, this practical exercise can enhance the training and the trainee can gain skills and experience by completing it.
Online only courses include all the theory knowledge and discussion about recovery procedures but does not include a practical exercise, If you feel that the online only course meets your needs you can book and complete the course online.
If you would like to include/complete the practical exercise please contact us to confirm, as the online course can be followed up by the practical exercise or you can complete the course fully in person with the practical exercises included.
On successful completion of this course certificates are provided by the IVR (Institute of Vehicle Recovery), recognized by National Highways Sector Scheme NHSS 17/17(b), PAS 43, HSE and other compliance requirements.
